Nick’s Simple Wins – Juli

Hello from London!

As you have probably heard by now I extended my run in Les Miserables in London. I have truly enjoyed my return to the stage and my time in London this month.

I am leaving soon to head back to the States to get ready for our upcoming Tour. When I get home my brothers and I go right into rehearsals. Then in another few weeks we kick off the World Tour in Chicago. For the next few months we will be traveling all over the United States and Canada doing shows for all of our great fans.

I love touring, but packing for long periods on the road is not easy! I have to remember to bring all my different tools to manage my diabetes, like my CONTOUR® USB meter and insulin. Luckily, my meter is really easy to use when I’m travelling because I can just plug it in to my computer and the software is built right in to monitor my blood sugar, log the results and see trends in my blood sugar levels.

Bayer’s “Give Back. Simply Win.” Contest ends August 5th – don’t forget to enter! It’s open to people with diabetes ages 6 and up. Three winners will be picked who I will get to meet and Bayer will donate $5,000 to the charity of each winner’s choice.

My Simple Win this month: Being able to monitor my blood sugar levels so I am able to perform 8 shows a week on the West End.
